Famous Wild Westerners in the Twenties

I was astonished to learn that some famous gunslingers and cowboys that I associate with the Wild West 19th century were still living in the Roaring Twenties.

Annie OakleyWyatt Earp, famous with his brother Virgil for the gunfight at the OK Corral (Tombstone 1881), lived until 1929 in California. Marshall Bat Masterson died in 1921. Annie Oakley, left, lived until 1926. I’m thinking I might be able to work a brief mention of one of these into my mystery series.
